Don't forget Clint Frazier: better arm and swing than Meadows, better upside than Bryant, and Baez-like bat speed.

3 homers in first 2 games this season.

And he's a ginger

I don't care if he's half martian - half tuna sandwich. If he's the best player on the board when the Cubs pick at No 2, I want him.

I agree. At this point, I think he may be the best overall player. Could be a faster, better hitting Almora. Just imagine that outfield defensively. All 3 of Soler, Almora, and Frazier could be above average or better at any of the 3 positions.

I'd be on board with Frazier. That swing is fluid and quick. I never saw any Stanek video until now either and while I don't know a whole lot about mechanics, I see your point about the leg.

Does the tuna have diced pickles or relish in it.

Relish and hot sauce. Is there any other way?

So how about Jonathan Gray? I like when pitchers hit 100 on the final pitch of a complete game shutout. 4 pitch mix with plus-plus fastball and plus slider. Change could be at least average.

Jonathan Gray is throwing a no hitter through 5 innings. 7 ks and 0 bb he is still throwing 101 on the radar. I have now seen Appel and Gray they are both number one picks. Gray is just raw power with some above average secondary pitches. a plus slider and average curve. Appel is a little more polished and seems a little more headier. He knows where he is in the game and what is needed to get the out. I like both but edge to Appel.

Gray sounds like a monster, but he's been such a quick riser that it scares me.  I guess that's going to come with the territory when the Cubs take a pitcher high in the draft from now on.

I am a big believer in Gray. I like Appel but there is a feeling in my gut that I can't shake with him. I also think the Cubs should take a good look at Kris Bryant. I have seen all of these players in person. The Cubs are in a good position in this draft.

Anyone know how much mileage is on Apple's arm?
