Through Day 1, so far so good.

I was tempted to pick Southern over Gonzaga. I wish now I had, even though the Zags pulled it out.

Well, up until that Harvard game, maybe.

My work bracket is in much better shape. I have to admit this one I didn't think about too much. Not that I thought about my office bracket too much, but I've got $20 on that one.

Now if you'll excuse me, I feel the need to go punch some badgers...

Yeah, what's up with Wisconsin losing in the 1st round! Booo, Big 10. But I'll tell you this - giving Miss St. a 12 seed after winning the SEC is ridiculous, but we all know that the people doing the seeding love the east coast. Big East and ACC always get over-seeded while everyone else gets the screw!

GO ILLINOIS!

They did the same to Oregon and look what happened. The selection committee did a terrible job this year. Syracuse a 4, New Mexico a 3, Harvard a 14 when everyone knows they can ball. I think Gonzaga getting a 1 seed with really no great wins was terrible as well.

And down goes Georgetown.

Good.

I've never liked how Georgetown plays basketball. There is a difference between playing physical basketball and playing rugby on the hardwood... only Georgetown never seems to understand that.

Yeah, they do play with a definite "punk" vibe to their game.

Right on! And another overrated Big East team goes down. By the end of the day, we'll have 4 5 out of 8 gone.

And as big of a Big 10 fan as I am, how bout that Atlantic 10! That might be the most underrated conference going right now. 6-0 after today - pretty impressive!

My apologies to any Big East fans if I've offended you. I promise to lay off now (not really).

God the Big East sucks. I'm glad they're getting exposed. B1G representin!! Cept Wisconsin. But I hate them (and called the Ole Miss upset), so I'm okay with it. I wish I would've had more faith in the A-10...they gettin silly.
