Cubs Trivia:

The "Eamus Catuli!" sign atop a building on Sheffield Avenue is Latin for what?

I haven't looked at my calendar but I believe the rooftop claims it means year of the cub. However, the literal translation is go cubs.

Interesting factoid, eamus translates alone as "go" but catuli translates, alone, as puppies.

I knew the answer to that because - as Bill Cosby once said - "I took 4 years of Latin I".

I seriously wish they would rip down that sign with the count of the years since last championships. Every time they're at Wrigley for a national TV game the announcers have to go through that damn thing and explain what it means. And then talk about the 100 plus year drought, and then the curse of the goat, and on and on. It's like a Sox fan put that crap up there and just laughs and laughs about it.

That's right, that's the dumb AC sign.
