Going to the Cubs’ home opener this Friday, April 4 against the Phillies? Wanna be in-real-life friends?
If you’re going to be around Wrigleyville for Opening Day, stop by the Captain Morgan Club at Wrigley (Sheffield and Addison corner, essentially) before the game. I’ll be there at least a couple hours before the game (hopefully with Myles and some other BN’ers), and it would be fun if we got a little group together.
If you can’t make it before the game, but you’re going to the game, stop by the right field bleachers – all the way in the corner, by the LED board and that party patio – and we can watch some baseball. Look for the blue BN shirt and bright yellow/blue shoes. What I lack in height, I make up for in verbosity.
If you aren’t able to stop by during the game, but you’re going to be up for a beer after the game, stop by, oh, let’s say Yak-Zies (a bar on Clark, north of Addison). If that changes on the fly, I’ll make sure to let folks know where I/we are headed. It’s a great deal of fun to meet you fine folks, so let’s do some of that.
If you’re going to stop by one or all of these places, don’t hesitate to drop it in the comments, which might help rally up something of a cohesive group.
See you folks on Friday.
