Last night’s game never really felt like the Cubs were in it, despite the fact that it wasn’t really a blowout. With Travis Wood on the mound today, at least there will be a potent bat at the bottom of the lineup.
Mike Olt is back in the lineup at third base, and, once again, Luis Valbuena slides over to second base against righty Marco Estrada.
Can Wood improve upon his .333/.429/1.000 batting line? I say yes. As in, yes please.
