Anyone still think the Cubs shouldnt have gone after Upton?

Anyone else think that the Cubs didn't have the pieces that Arizona wanted for Upton?

I agree with this but a ton of people on here were arguing that the Cubs shouldnt have been in on him at all

I think that argument is based on the notion that the Cubs would have had to offer Castro, Rizzo, or Shark in the deal to get Upton. If that's the case, then I agree with that notion. I'm not saying I wouldn't have wanted them to group up a few top prospects for him, because I would have been aboard with that. I just believe that Arizona wasn't going to move him without getting major league ready talent.

This striking out on a 50-foot pitch shit needs to stop.

Well, the Cubs are smoking the ball when they hit it. They are just hitting it right to Braves outfielders.

They should automatically know better from being on a team with Marmol.

Feldman 22 in the first 13 for strikes.

Aside from the one pitch to Upton, I thought he did a good job.

22 will get him into the fifth.
He has good stuff just not hitting his spots.
Hard to see movement on the fast ball on TV.

Good recovery inning by Feldman, needs to hit his spots a little better though.
