Well, he's got a long way to go before he catches Bob Buhl. Anyone know what the longest hit-less streak to start a season is?

Castro having a hard inning.
Got to slow the game down in his head.

I agree that it was a bad inning, but he also kept two balls in the infield that would have scored runs otherwise.

Thats where he has to slow the game down. Rushed throw to Castillo. Had him dead.
Good to reach the ball going into center. Why make the throw 4' off the bag to Rizzo. He's young. He'll learn when to eat the ball. His range is sometimes his worst enemy.

I agree, just trying to stay positive. His range is going to save a lot of runs, especially if he calms down, like you said.

I just got home and checked the box score and was all excited because the Cubs were winning 2-0. Then I realized, I was looking at errors.

Nice range by Castro to get out there and cover for Soriano.

Nice, good inning for Wood. Now we need some runs, err, hits at least.

Hah, the official scorer must be a Starlin Castro fan.

Nice ab, Rizzo. The rest of the Cubs need to take some pitches, Peralta is all over the place.

I agree with the scorer. He got to a ball he shouldn't have. Can't assume the out.

Nicely done Soriano, guy can't throw a strike, so swing at a ball.

I agree too, but that's two close calls that have gone his way already.

So, who else is taking Matt Cain in the Draftsheet game on Friday?
