Rizzo on pace to hit 30 homers, walk 40 times and K 100 times in the same 370-ish PA sample size from last year.

But but but... he's K'd 4 times in a row! Based on that sample size, he's bound to have ~700 strikeouts this season!

Could Moreland be worse at calling games?

No. He could absolutely not possibly be worse.

He could be 2011 Judd Sirot...

Moreland is lightyears better than Sirott

Whoops

Sirott is light years better than Moreland.

Not bad. Can't grip the splitter yet.

(All is well. He's been a pretty chill little guy so far, which you never want to say lest you incur some wrath. I'm going to have to dial back the BN just a touch soon, though, as I'm starting to feel a little of the candle-at-the-both-ends thing.)

Ya, you have been going crazy lately. In another week, there won't be any Cubs fans left so noone will notice your absence.

Or you could just keep getting a bunch of awesome guest posters, who, nobody seems to realize, aren't actually you.

Is Rizzo getting enough time in the batting cage? Or is he sitting on his laurels?

Sitting on his laurels?

Jesus the pessimism form some parts 'round here is revolting.

Dude's just not seeing the ball well. It's game #10 fer chrissakes....

I'll remind you of that next time the Cubs play the White Sox on WGN...

I don't consider Hawk a broadcaster. I consider him a skidmark.

I'm sure he's in the cage. Sometimes the ball looks like an aspirin some times it looks like a beach ball.

I know it's only two weeks into the season, but I really haven't noticed any difference in approach from anyone like they kept touting in ST.

That indicates the number of people in the league who have picked that player.

....how many games would you say should define his grace time? ...just curious about how you gauge the man's blind spot....
