That indicates the number of people in the league who have picked that player.

Rizzo on pace to hit 30 homers, walk 40 times and K 100 times in the same 370-ish PA sample size from last year.

But but but... he's K'd 4 times in a row! Based on that sample size, he's bound to have ~700 strikeouts this season!

OMG THE CHANGES THE CUBS MADE TO THE OFFENSIVE APPROACH HAVEN'T RESULTED IN EVERY BATTER HAVING 1000 WALKS AND 2000 HOME RUNS!!! THEO IS A BUM!!!!

I know it's only two weeks into the season, but I really haven't noticed any difference in approach from anyone like they kept touting in ST.

I think it may help explain the increase in strikeouts. Right now, the team has a .239 BABIP. Hopefully the change will be more effective once that normalizes.

Is Rizzo getting enough time in the batting cage? Or is he sitting on his laurels?

Sitting on his laurels?

Jesus the pessimism form some parts 'round here is revolting.

Dude's just not seeing the ball well. It's game #10 fer chrissakes....

....how many games would you say should define his grace time? ...just curious about how you gauge the man's blind spot....

I'd say 100 PA. Right now he is on pace for 60 HR, 80 BB and 200 K's.

Yeah, 100PA is pretty much the minimum.

But even if he keeps up that pace, it'd be pretty damn acceptable to me.

Ya, 60 HR's would, generally, put you in the discussion for MVP.

Did Pat just say that Fujikawa is warming up for the 8th inning? What does that mean? Marmol in the 9th? I hope not

Len said he started to play catch. Maybe V starts the 8th and Fujikawa takes over if needed and finishes it off?

Need to let the Giants get some offense for the fantasy baseball players out there.

At the WBC the Japanese pitchers seemed to be warming up all game long. Maybe a routine thing for Fuji.

They warm up for a few innings in NPB ball in Japan too. Maybe he's convinced the coaches that he's not getting loose enough before coming in.
