What a great game by Castro. I mean his plate discipline all day was spectacular, taking balls and attacking anything elevated out over the plate. Super encouraging.

Which exactly why that is a statistic everyone should use to determine how good a pitcher (especially relief pitcher) is.

I hope everyone that was overly critical of Starlin yesterday gives him the credit that he is rightfully due today.

Got out of my meeting just in time to get pissed at Fuji only to be elated by Navarro and Castro. I'll take any of the ones we can get

I know you're trolling, but seriously, if he gets drivable pitches like he did in each of his AB's today, I don't want him to walk. I want him driving the ball all over the ball park like he did today.

Taking balls outside the zone isn't all about getting walks. It's about getting your pitch, and doing something with it. What the FO's been preaching all along.

Holy crap dude. That was awesome. Too bad the shit house bullpen blew it for Villanueva. That guy was great today. Just have to find a way to shut games down. And there is none right now. Great job by the Cubs though not to hang their head after Fuji sucked at life, and come alive to tee off on a dominant closer. Unbelievable. Who closes now?

He is one of the best bad ball hitters I have seen. He doesn't need to walk. I think its funny that everybody gets on him for it. He never will have a average walk rate. He can hit and he knows it.
