Ideas for a 2012 Bleacher Nation T-Shirt
Posted 14 November 2011 - 01:27 PM
So, I think what I'm going to do for the very first shirt - and I think this makes sense, given it's the first shirt - is to keep it simple: site logo on front, with a simple slogan underneath. I'm leaning toward "Obsessing Since 2008." Maybe no slogan at all, and just the year 2012.
In any event, and I'll be posting about this soon on the blog, I'm probably going to need a tiny bit of design help. What I envision for the logo is just the words (Bleacher Nation), the bleacher lines, and the legs, in white (like almost cartoony white) - I tried to do it myself, and the best I could do is this (I didn't go to the trouble removing the trash and extraneous bits, because I knew I wasn't quite getting it right):
The background wouldn't be black, obviously, it would be whatever color the shirt is.
This is the "kind" of thing I mean, in terms of the way the writing, bleachers, and legs would look:
So, long story short - if anyone wants to take a crack at turning the BN logo into something like that, I'd be much obliged.

Are we thinking that something will be lined up in time for the holiday shopping season, or maybe a deadline of the Cubs Convention? Just wanting to know if I need to reprioritize my Christmas list.
Being able to get people their shirts before the Convention is definitely the absolute priority. The goal is to have them available for purchase by early December. I just need to get this design issue finalized, and then I can find a vendor, and then I can take orders.

Something like that? I don't know if the legs would come out any clearer if I worked from a higher res source pic or not.
InternetRandom, you have some very nicely colored unshaved arms my friend. If you looking for something to shake it up, may I suggest going with the "Theriot Holiday Package" It comes with a bottle of bronzer and a razor.
