I am currently impatiently waiting to hear if the doctors are going to say if it is time for my wife to have a c-section (her blood pressure is up and has gestational diabetes and her sugar levels have been rising). I know it is kind of generic but we are naming our girl Addison.

I was wondering what have others done to show their love of our Cubbies.

I fought like crazy for "Addison," but lost (wife is a teacher, and there are too many "Addisons" these days).

To date, the craziest thing I've done to show my fandom is quitting my day job to work full-time on a Chicago Cubs blog.

I use to hang a W flag whenever the Cubs won in my classroom and my students knew it was a good day if it was flying, and to watch out if the window was empty.

I shaved "MichiganGoat" into my ass hair.

Oh, you mean my Cubs fandom?

Not much, I guess. Not nearly enough.

Oh, and, sorry, the first thing I should have said: congrats, and I hope everything goes smoothly!

No baby today. Surprisingly all of my wife's levels were better than they have been in some time. Thursday the 17th has been the planned c-section from the start so Addison will be born then. we are a little bummed but glad that they are both doing fine.

Im late to the party...but I hope everything went well!

Craziest Cubs things I have done would be running up and down the streets of my town, screaming and brandishing a HUGE Cubs flag when the 2003 Cubs clinched the NL Central.

I have also worn a Cubs hat pretty much every day for the last 2.5 years (I also wear my old school Orioles hat a lot, which recently became a current Orioles hat....). I fly the W flag out of my dorm window when we win. The only picture on my desk is one of me, my dad, and Fergie Jenkins at spring training a few years back. I have hand painted Cubs baggo (cornhole?) boards. I have a Cubs logo sign infront of my room at my house. I also have 3 (THREE) paintings of Wrigley field framed and hanging in that room...

There is now a new cub fan named Addison. Now if we can just get a Prince of a 1st base Fielder for a baby gift it would be much appreciated.
