Thank God for the Marlins.

Gregg didn't look half bad there.

Cubs kept their K's down tonight. Only three.

Much better job.

The stadium was barren tonight.  I don't know how it showed on tv, but it was so empty at one point that they actually came around and offered us seats behind the dugout, even less there tonight than Thursday night.  Both Rizzo homeruns got out fast, and it may have been the empty stadium, but the ball explodes off of his bat and echoed through the stands, even though it seemed my group were the only one's in the crowd that noticed.  I had lots of free beer, and nachos, and hot dogs, and the Cubs won, so it was an awesome night in a crappy, new, empty stadium.  2-0 in games I attend this year, as compared to 0-3 last year.  Go Cubs, and Fuck Yeah!

Almost forgot, we sat next to some older Marlins fans after our second move and one of them was actually pining for the days when they had Kevin Gregg as their closer. Sometimes I feel bad for baseball fans in Miami, then I talk to them, and the feeling vanishes.
