Well pitched game on both sides.

Or is it crappy hitting from both teams.

No comment ...

Beaten again by Stanton. First base open? Cubs are beating themselves.

Just walk him.

Leaving two on with none out earlier in the game is going to bite the Cubs. Always does.

Two innings to get three runs.

Who am I kidding?

Why is it that I thought we would sweep today?

Yeah, Stanton is good. You may want to pitch around him.

Solo homeruns won't beat you until they hit 4 or more.

Cubs gave this one away. Nobody will really hurt you on the Marlins. The decision to be around the strike zone of Stanton is just stupid..

Time for the two run comeback.

Just one shy.

I'm pissed.

Anyone who pitches to Stanton with a base open deserves to lose. I don't care if he is/was hitting .205 or whatever, he has ZERO protection.

Are there any other star sluggers that are having a slow start and need a series against the Cubs to get their season kick-started? Oh, Chase Headley, you say?

Well, we'd be glad to oblige!
