Pat Hughes got pretty damn excited on the radio!! Barney flashing the leather!

love pat. but man keith morland is sooooo boring. really makes ya miss ronnie

I can't listen to the radio broadcasts anymore because of Keith.

with my work schedule i listen to more games than i can watch. sometimes i have to turn it off because i want to punch the radio (ala sammy sosa's boombox)

I'm blacked out of mlbtv here in SD and mine won't be delivered until Thursday. I used to listen to the games on the radio when I lived back home and was doing landscaping. I thought Santo was pretty annoying. I think radio color guys are required to be that way.

honestly it took me a while to warm up to ronnie. i thought he could be pretty blah at times. guess you dont know what ya got til its gone....

Ya, I think Ronnie was a love him or hate him kind of color guy.  It was very much like watching a game with that friend/uncle who was waaaaaay to into letting you know they were a BIG fan but Pat just ate it up and had a heyday with it.

I give Ronnie 10's for charisma, living and dying with every pitch, and incoherent rambling. It just bothered me when he would get so pissed that he wouldn't talk til after the next commercial break. I could just imagine Pat giving him a pep talk during the break. "Come on, Ronnie! You can't stew over that error for the next 3 innings."

for me it was one of the games on my birthday i went to. i was outside by where the players drive in and he came out to hang out with fans. just getting the chance to talk to him and really hear the passion he had for our team made me respect him much more. anyone who had the chance to talk to him would agree he was by far the chicago cubs #1 fan

Gregg has done well for the Cubs since he got here. Getting his 15 minutes I guess.

I'd prefer him have a good 15 weeks.
