Inspired by the Marlins' ... questionable uniform change, I have to ask: are these the worst uniforms of all-time? And if not, post some better (worse) ones.

Those things are absolutely hideous. Diamondbacks unis were pretty bad in my opinion before they switched to the newer look. As was the original Devil Rays uniforms. The orange would be a neat alternate idea, kinda like the cubs blue ones, I guess. Whatever happened to simple classic uniforms like the Cubs, Yankees, Tigers, etc. With baseball being such a timeless game, why do teams want to try and "futurize" it with uniforms and logos?

Pink Theriot jerseys are probably the worst of all time though. Am I the only guy that would rather see a girl in the ACTUAL team colors?

For what it's worth, I really have no problem with the aforementioned Padres uniforms, nor the mid-70's Astros or mid-80's White Sox jerseys -- from a design perspective. I don't think they've aged well, however.

One thing that I always thought was a bit odd was how many teams' away uniforms were a shade of powder blue for many, many years. I'm glad that those have all tended to go to gray, even if it's a bit unimaginative. Was that a league-mandated thing? It appears that in 1995 everyone went gray for their away unis.
