Does anyone know the whereabouts of this kid? I was a big fan of the draft pick at the time, and they said he was late 1st round/sanwich round talent when we got him in the 2nd. He was showing some promise in limited duty in 2011, with a .242/.332/.420 line in 56 games, but was injured after 7 games and a line of .192/.250/.192 in 2012, and that's the last I heard of him. He's only 21, so I hope they havn't given up on him. Especially considering the waste that was the Cubs 1st pick in the 2010 draft.

He's playing in extended spring training, and from the looks of his stats, not faring any better.

29 PA (11 GAMES)
1 2B, 0 3B, 0 HR, 1 RBI, 1 R, 7 BB, 7 K, 1 SB (0 CS), 1 PO"

stats as of 4/27 according to Arizona Phil from TCR

Don't give up on him though. He's not looking bad. Hoping for a breakout in Boise this year. It could happen.

Extended spring training stats are even more meaningless than spring training stats. I wouldn't get worried or excited about anyone based on those.
