The previous regime did a wonderful job of making Zambrano appear to be a bat-shit crazy terrorist, which means it'll be hard for the Cubs to bring him back but also difficult to get anything at all for him in a trade. Honestly, since the Cubs need pitching, I hope they keep him and he pitches well enough to be a mid-season trade candidate.

It cannot have helped Zambrano that every time Hendry was quoted in the papers he made some mention of Z and being in or staying out of trouble. If the new Epstien/Hoter/new manager can stay away from that so Zambrano doesn't have to constantly defend himself in the media, he may be able to stay more mellow.
