Maybe the Big 12 just sucks.

Phil, didn't know you went to school in Lames! It was a great game and OSU just looked shell shocked. My best friend has season tickets and rushed the field. What a great win for the Clones and although I'm a Hawk fan, I'm happy for ISU.
Peg: Oh Al! Did you miss me?
Al: With every bullet, so far.

Proud member of Cyclone Nation here as well. Sorry, Brett, Big 12 doesn't suck. Clones played great defensively, deserved/earned the win. Rhoads is America's best kept coaching secret though that likely changed last night. As pissed as I was at how quickly Chizik (as much as I love Rhoads I still utter the words, "Fuck you, Chizik.") left I'm glad it seems to have worked out for the best. They're a very young team and learning to win. Exciting times in Ames with football program moving right direction and now Hoibs running the hoops program........

Wow, now Oklahoma goes down (again). Oregon too. Blow up the BCS! Now! But getting back to the Clones, Oklahoma losing might work out well for them. Going into Norman with the Sooners having nothing to play for might not be a bad thing...........
@Bleacher Bum: you hit the nail on the head on the heavy heart stuff. Twice in ten years for that school. Iowa State had similar tragedy with its nationally ranked cross country team back in '85......
