Here is the inaugural BN game day thread. Game is schedule for 2:20pm and is broadcast on Comcast Sports-Chicago... so I won't be able to watch it

I really wish Castro would get the day off he needs regular games off, Quade is jeopardizing his health by playing him this so much this season.

Wouldn't it be nice if Q had a brain and started LaHair at 1B today or at least split the day with Pena, but he will never bench Pena unless Pena asks for LaHair to start. Pena is a great guy but he will never sit when he is playing for a 2012 contract.

Johnson, Byrd, Soriano, Pena, Ramirez in today's lineup in a meaningless Sept. game against the Pirates. That's a lot of old players in the lineup.

Yeah, LeHair is going to get - maybe - two starts this month if Pena stays healthy. It's just the way things work.

Who knows; maybe the Cubs can get him an extra start or two in the outfield.

So I'm SUPER STOKED I just found out that my Samsung Blu-ray player has the MLB TV app so I just paid the $19.99 September price and now I can watch all the games.

Only complaint so far is that it keeps jumping btwn HD and non-HD but who cares i get to watch baseball

And even better I don't have to listen to commercials!

I'll bet he gets one at bat late. Pinch hitting against their closer with 2 outs and nobody on. Anything less than a HR and Quade will claim he looked overmatched.
