Well the Blackhawks did it in grand fashion last night. Two overtimes and it ends with a Towes to Kane pass for a hat trick, game winning ot goal. So if your a hockey nut like me, use this thread for your thoughts/comments on the upcoming Chicago/Boston series.

Go Chicago!

I am a hockey nut...truly my favorite game to watch now....tough to gauge Boston...I think the Pens may have been a tad over-rated...don't think they(the Pens) are as young and fast as Hawks, so people automatically thinking that Hawks will get shut down because the mighty Pens only scored two goals, not so sure about that...

Plus Hawks do not get enough credit for the way they play Defense...

They do in Boston. Right now our media markets are promoting this match up as,"as great as the Penguins were suppose to be on offense, the Hawks are a much better team because of their balanced attack."

I think the Hawks are a better passing team who can step up and get physical at times, where Pittsburgh was a finesse team who kind of wilted under Boston's defense.  So I think the Hawks are a better matchup.  Boston is a very deep team, and is probably going to be the toughest matchup of the year for Chicago.  I think this series is going to come down to which goaltender(s) can keep the cheap goals off the board.  Crawford has had issues with this his whole career, and I think Rask is playing so hot right now, that the Hawks are going to need a cheapy or two to shake his confidence.  It's pretty funny, but I was kicking things wondering why the Hawks didn't make a play to get Tim Thomas last offseason,  now I think I prefer our Crawford/Emery combo.

If the Hawks win, I'll sit through 6 OTs.
