So, I looked at my phone today, fully thinking it was Tuesday, and said "How in the fuck is it Wednesday?!"

Since 1906-1908, what are the only two seasons where the Cubs made the post-season in consecutive years?

Also, random trivia: In 1885 the (then White Stockings) Cubs tied the St. Louis Browns (guess what douchebag organization they are now) for the World Series crown.  Interesting tie in, Charlie Comisky was the manager of the Browns and, later, created the Chicago White Sox, two organizations known for gross douche-baggery.  Mmm, wonder what the common denominator is here.

2007 and 2008.

Don't understand the second part. Browns became the Orioles in the 1950's, but doesn't sound like what you're getting at.

There were, apparently, two incarnations of the St. Louis Browns:

http://www.baseball-....com/teams/STL/ - founded in 1882, renamed in 1899 to "St. Louis Perfectos" (dumb) and finally to Cardinals in 1900.

and

http://www.baseball-....com/teams/BAL/ - started as the Milwaukee Brewers in 1901, moved to The Armpit of America in 1902.  Then owner Bud Selig moved them to St. Louis because it was "As good of an idea as having the All-Star game matter!"
