Back-to-back good starts from Edwin Jackson. Here it comes. Also 15 runs from the bats.

Last time I saw the Cubs live was against the Mets at Shea Stadium.  I didn't get there until the middle of the third (the MTA is BRUTAL) and Big Z had already given up a 5 runs by the time I sat down.  The Cubs came back and won it in extra innings and it was by far the best baseball game i'd ever seen live although the three hour subway ride back to Brooklyn was really awkward since I was wearing my Cubs gear and this game pretty much knocked the Mets out of contention.

I wonder if Nate's teammates are taking in his approach at the plate.  He sure shows he's focused and meeting the pitches he chooses to swing at with convincing conviction. He doesn't reach for bad pitches.

....just an observation....

If you have to add the equivalent of a laugh track, you're trying too hard. That is all.

I think if Dioner Navarro were to shave, he'd look like Joe Masseria (Ivo Nandi) on Boardwalk Empire.
