Joking about the wagon wheels aside, today would have actually been my Mom's 83rd birthday. She was completely awesome. Died in 1998 and asked for updates on Sammy's HR total on a daily basis - right up until the last day.

 

Great, way to make me feel like an ass.

 

Actually she isn't much older than my Mom. She turned 80 this year. I do have much older siblings though.

 

 

My sister turned 41 last week!  I am significantly younger.
