10 years ago today the world lost a truly great man when George Harrison died. Today is a day to remember a man who changed music forever. He was one of the best composers/guitar players of all time. Harrison is one of my idols, a man who has influenced me spiritually and musically. The world is truly a better place for him having lived.

Really? That was 10 years ago? Damn, I thought it was maybe three or four years. The older you get, the faster time flies.

I can remember my ex waking me up to tell me and I cried all morning.
Peg: Oh Al! Did you miss me?
Al: With every bullet, so far.

I remember my ex waking me up and me crying too... Because she was still there, ZING

But seriously some of the greatest Beatles songs were written by George.

I am cheap and refuse to pay for HBO since Sex And The City and Sopranos ended. I'm definitely getting the DVD.
