I have really grown to love Dirty Bastard over the last year. My first couple taste really left me unimpressed but it is now one of my favorite non-IPAs around. Its much more complex than I originally gave it credit and much stronger than your typical beer.
Now that you have tasted the dirty bastard and its mixed with you dirty puppet blood it time for you to find Founder's Curmudgeon and complete your evolution. This beer will change you.

Its a tough one to find, its a speciality annual brew and I don't think it gets distibuted very far. The best thing to do is regularly check foundersbrewing.com and look for "tap take-over" in a city near you. Basically they come into a bar and have 6-10 of their beers on tap for an evening or two.
Oooooh! Curmudgeon, another beer named after me! Must find.
Happy hunting there is also Curmudgon's Better Half that is being released in a speciality next week.

Absolutely I have had the Crooked Tree IPA and Amber Ale very good but I'm not as impressed with the. As I am with Founder and Shorts and for some reason it's harder to find here in GR.
MG: Have you tried anything by Dark Horse in Marshall? They make some good stuff.

You are a sickie.
I'll be the one to say it: I don't like Oberon.
+1. It's widely distributed in these parts, and quite awesome.
I cannot recommend highly enough North Coast Brewing's Old Rasputin Imperial Stout. It's freaking marvelous.
Another one of my favorites is Bluegrass Brewing Company Bourbon Barrel Stout, extremely hard to find outside of Louisville and greater KY area but well worth a search.
