Wow I did not realize that Navvaro has 7 HR's! Imagine if he played everyday.

Navvaro probably has more trade value than we think!

Brewers + 2 newbies at new positions = growing pains.   And Navarro underscores  the degree of "pain".   Gotta' love it all!    Garza just needs to polish the win with a signature performance......and that'll do it.

I am wondering if Sveum will leave Garza in this game beyond the Brewers 5th.  Assuming the game continues as it's going with the Cubs on top and in controlI I really think Sveum takes him out......nothing to be gained by pushing Garza for more than what he's shown.

With all the scouts in attendance, I would go in the total opposite direction and leave him in for maybe a complete game just to showcase him against this weak lineup.

That's a point.........but.......it would add rest time for Garza to ensure "readiness" for immediate use.

#1lahairfan:  forgot to add.......pulling Garza after this inning protects him from anything that may cause the game to go south  (God forbid).

Navarro may look like a tank back there, but that foul straight back had bazooka speed to it.

Sveum should tell Garza: "Good job. You have nothing left to prove......relax with us and enjoy the rest of the game."

I'm sure teams are still curious about his stamina and conditioning.  Pitching into the 8th will address those concerns.

Can't argue with that.  just thinking about helping "save" that stamina for any team trading for him.......also, I'd hate to see Garza in and the BrewCrew batters having a streak of luck and connecting to ruin a fine performance.  That might signal somethig negative about stamina ; something we don't want or would like.

Great play by Navvaro to get Rameriz.
