How about Garza for Matt Skole and Lucas Giolito?
( two buy lows I'd love to get)

So, does anyone else feel like the possible extension announcement is to try to heat up the trade process?

I think it was an attempt to make teams up their offer. Best case scenario in my eye s is trade garza and resign in the offseason haha

Im going with the Assman22 rumors and saying Garza and Nate for Bauer Naquin and upside arm. Naquin could be Salazar but I think giving up 2 arms might be a little much

Some are saying that Bauer is overrated.  I am curious as to why some are saying that,

I was curious too and found this article that summed up a lot of his issues.  After reading it, I can see where Cleveland might be happy to package him for Garza.

Nothing coaching can't fix.  The stuff is there.  He just needs to be taught how to use it.

Scroll down the article and you see this bit

Jimmy Haslam was part of an ownership group that this week sold the Tennessee Smokies, the Cubs' Double A affiliate. Haslam told the Knoxville Tennessean the sale had nothing to do with his legal problems.

Believe it. Haslam bought the Browns for a billion. His group bought the Smokies for $7.5 million in 2002. That's couch cushion change.

Or the equivalent of "insignificant" rebates.

Whoa, I was not aware that Jimmy Haslam owned the Smokies.  Jimmy Haslam as in the new owner of the Browns who is being investigated by a federal grand jury  for corporate malfeasance

He ran a good organization for the Smokies.  Great park, great community support, great fans, all of it is pretty much great.  The Smokies are one of the best run organizations in the minors.

Yeah, I didn't know that he was the owner of the Smokies.  Would love to find a couple million dollars in my couch cushion.

So the Indians don't want to give up Chisenhall. Hard to blame them. Young 3B who has been productive for them. Why screw with the corners at the trade deadline when what you have is kinda working? But... the Indians still make some sense. What would you guys think about....

Garza, Russell 4 BAUER, Danny SALAZAR, Mitch BROWN, Dorsyss PAULINO

or....  though I don't think the Indians would ever do it... would you straight up take

GARZA, RUSSELL 4 BAUER, LINDOR

Yeah it's getting tense up here in CLE. Everyone was so excited to get a "real" owner. Now the stress is palpable. Browns fans are like Cubs fans without optimism. There a pretty depressing bunch. This just makes things worse.

And I don't think that they would want to give up Bauer.  They basically just got him.
