BN'er John took a little time to sort through Baseball America's midseason prospect update (discussed here) to put together a chart of where every team stands. I thought it was pretty interesting:

The Cubs are the only organization with three in the top 20. The Cardinals, Red Sox, and Astros have more in the top 50 than the Cubs (though Bryant will bump that up for the Cubs). The Red Sox suddenly strike me as a very nice trade partner.

Frickin' Voodoo magic. That ZERO is very nice to see though, as well as the Brewers 0.The Nationals are a bit of a surprise to me though. And, Houston is showing what sucking for several years will get you.

The Nationals, at least, have a good amount of nice, young talent.  CWS, MIL and even LAA (outside of Trout) are gonna be hurting for a while.

It's not a bad time to be Cubs fans.

I was happy to see the Stink Sox with ZERO!!

MIL was something of a shocker.  LAA as well.

Cincy was something of a puzzler, but Jocketty will figure it out!

Texas - 1.

This is just one data point, of course, but I really think Texas's farm system was overrated coming into this year.
