shit.   one run out of all that.

I'm as big of a Cubs fan as anyone, but i'm not eating Bulls balls to assist in a rally in a lost season.  Sorry.

This season may be lost, but that doesn't mean playing to win is unimportant.  Everyone (including the manager) should be playing to win the game underway.  That is the primary aim of the competition.  We know the Cubs won't surge into a playoff contention, but neither should we accept turning a blind eye to losing.  Day in and day out, performance counts.

What does that have to do with eating rocky mountain oysters as a "rally cap" of sorts?  That's what I was posting about, since it was what Len and JD were doing.

Sorry. If you can, disregard my error......

The game is in the homestretch.......do the Cubs have what it takes to cross the line to a win?   Better said:  Will they?   Coors lends itself to runs.......will it be kind to us tonight?

I'd like to see us make a run, but looks like we'll have to do it in the 9th.

Wow, really? You're going to try to throw out Fowler? The guy scored before the ball left your hand, get the sure out!

I know. Sure, Castro gets an error, but as they say in basketball, "Good foul."

Parker is not being given any easy outs with the batters he's had to face.....one more out and he can breathe.....

Yeah, I think if Gregg gets dealt, I'd rather see Strop take over closer role. He has some experience closing games and I liked him last year with the Orioles and so far this year with us. I know it's the heart of their order that Parker's going through, but you've especially gotta be able to get through those outs as a closer, IMHO.

6 RUNS.     That's all we need.  No biggie.  It's only a miracle.
