Question:   Are the Cubs looking better the more players are traded and new blood infused by replacements?

Better? Too soon to tell. Let's hold judgement till we see where this rotation goes. The Cubs don't hit well enough to win if the starters start letting games get away from them. Yes! they are better than last year.

Impressed with Rusin tonight. Has given the Cubs four strong innings and has out pitched Skaggs and has done it on 57 pitches.

Dale it's time to get the pen up. 90 pitch range for Rusin is enough.

Good job by Rusin.  He leaves a "cloud" hanging over his team with 2 on and no outs.........but.......it leaves Parker with a challenge to shut this whole thing down.  I'm banking on Parker doing just that too.

Man ......Lake is turning out to be a one-man wrecking crew.  I wonder if he will still want to trade his #21 number for the #22 he wanted.......?

Just think, in four years Lake can start juicing and become the only player in history to hit 60+ HR in three consecutive seasons...

A raw deal....but they were put on by him.......hard to buck reality.

Lake (in a coy fashion) tries to steal 2nd but is out........I'm telling you Lake's appetite to devour everything linked to succeeding has no bounds!

Somebody has to be charged but Parker should split it with him. Yet it will never be seen in Parkers numbers.
