Jr. having trouble in center. Man is a corner fielder at best.

He has the speed for Center, right now it still likely lack of experience

Not fair to Jr. to even be out there. Bat is a bat and the Cubs need that more.

I'll agree it is not fair to Jr. to put him in center with next to 0 experience out their.  Hopefully he can pick it up quickly.

Did not think Bell would get to the ball that fast.

Rather see Jr. in right and slide Gillespie into center.

Jr. should be on 3rd, the outfielder was running away from 3rd on that catch.  And I could see switching Lake and Gillespie

In retrospect, I have to say Wood did well over-all.  And that considering he provided his own offense for the one run posted.  The rest of the team (other than Rizzo's rbi) has been ineffective in risp opportunities---and they've had them.  We won't win this one, much less tie it, if the guys don't wake up and do damage that counts.  Too bad Wood suffered the fate he did.

Damn.   Guess Chavez just put the final nail in the coffin.......Sad to say, but this one is too far gone to salvage.

Well this game has taken a poor turn.  Good thing I have a drink.

Would you say it is experience or what that is making our guys not contribute as much as they should?
