Scott was a big man who flashed "black beauty" (his glove) and sent long taters out of the pahk. He flashed his gold toothed smile and sent some top ML pitchers home humbled.

One more reason I don't regret leaving the Sox current crew: Larry treats my hereos shabbily (again).
"Scott was inducted into the Red Sox Hall of Fame in 2006, in the same class as Dick Williams...no one came to his table to congratulate him. By his reckoning, none of the other former players in attendance, and no one from Red Sox management.
