First, there is a nifty little quote function up there. Second, I don't think they actually like the spotlight on them all the time. They would rather it be a player and therefor would steer the media in that direction which in turn would turn the masses toward that said player.
Yes, but that player (if he is on this team already) hasn't burnished his identity with enough of a narrative yet. So I think, for the moment, Theo is it. His is only a Starbuck's story, a gorilla suit escapade and a promise. But, these are tough times.
He may not want to be, but talent, tenure and a fantastic notion say he is the face of the Cubs. For now.
