I was just checking the weather forecast and AccuWeather has 45-days of forcast.  Seriously, who in their right mind actually thinks they are within a reasonable amount of accuracy.  Just bummed they are saying there isn't much in the way of summer left with below average temps.  BOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.

Weekend:

Antonio Alfonseca, who pitched for the Cubs in 2002 and 2003, had six fingers on each hand and six toes on each foot.  (I had a cousin once that had webbed feet.  He had all 10 toes but 8 of them had fused into 4 pairs of 2.)

Monday:

He was the first African-American player called up to the Cubs, but Ernie Banks enjoys the distinction of being the first African-American to appear in a game, on September 17, 1953.  Who was "he"?

Wow. The calendar makers really put a bit of a personal touch on that one...
