Looks like a solid pickup. 25 and has some pretty good minor league stats. Wonder what kind of outfield he plays.

His short stints on Cleveland then NY in the OF, all of 37 plate appearances, he is 25 yrs old, was drafted way back in 2005 in the 36th round by SF, traded for Orlando Cabrera near the end of Cabrera's career when SF need a utility IF'er. Second time Neal was on waivers and claimed.

 

Looks like another RH bat off the bench to replace Borbon's bone headed base running play.
