Two years ago this October, I flew down to LA to join my brother at RA's first "out-of-retirement" concert, which was held in the Masonic Lodge of the Hollywood Forever Cemetery. If I had to guess there were 200 people there - tops. My bro and I snagged a spot right at the front corner of the stage. It was like sitting in a living room w/ RA playing a couple feet away. Amazing. Totally amazing.
I stealthed the recording, and it turned out pretty well. There was so much dynamic in the room that after every song the crowd flatlines the recording. I spent a few hours mastering the recording in Audacity, but for some stupid accidental reason I deleted the processed files, and I've never redone it. I really should take the time to do so, because the original, raw, recording is really hard to listen to (unless you're crazy quick with the volume knob on the closing notes of each song).
