So I went to the I-Cubs game last night. Enjoyed some cool music (Dustin Smith and The Sunday Silo's) before the game. Got a free beer because it was Thursday and I'm a member of the mug club. Got to see K. Hendricks AAA debut, which he was spot on. Yet the highlight of my evening came when I went to get another beer (Madhouse-Pastime IPA) in the 5th inning. There is a designated vendor for mug club members and they have a couple tv's in there playing the I-Cubs game and the other Chicago Cubs game. Well as I approached the line I noticed the Chicago Cubs game was in the 4th inning and Nate Scherholtz was at bat, and if anybody watched or listened to the game yesterday you know that Scherholtz hit a BOMB in that at bat. I decided to lean over to the guy in front of me in line and wager that Scherholtz hits a homer, he took me up on it. Two pitches later BOOM! and I got my second free beer of the night. Oh yea who said yesterdays game was a waste.
