Leave him in there ... if only for his bat.

Well that sucked.

4 runs won't win this game. Bailey will give it back before he's done. Shark has to settle in now. Any more and it will be too hard to recover from.

You called that one!

Give Lake a six inch longer and two pounds heavier bat and he'd look a lot like Soriano going after that low and outside slider.

I understand the lefty lefty match up but Russell is being way over used.

I was about to say the same thing about Strop being overused.  Tough being in the position of having to ride one horse until it dies.

A.Soriano 3-5, 2 HR, 6 RBI, 3 R Tonight. Looks like he is carrying the Yankees

Gonna be hard to lose that production for the rest of the year.

Still don't like the trade.

I don't like it when the starting lineup vs. lefties is released, but honestly I don't even think Soriano's that big of a plus to this team if they happen to be in contention next year.  I wouldn't say they're outright tanking, but it's not a bad thing if they finish in place for a top 10 protected draft pick if they happen to want to go after certain free agents too.

Still cant figure why Rondon hasn't been injury DL'ed.

I didn't like the trade because I thought they could have got a lot more for him. Al is not going to help this team.

For seven million in savings they just as well kept him into the winter meetings and unloading him then.

As for the protected pick , I don't see anyone going after. Even with Al they still  won't pick any worse than 6th.

I know it'd be a crime to let Schierholtz face a lefty, but he's been pinch hit for against Chapman two games in a row and both were strikeouts.
