I know what you are going to say, but it is never too early for fantasy baseball. That being said, with the great community here at BN I think it is high time that there is a BN league.

I'd be down but I am very bad at fantasy baseball, but it would be fun.

If enough people are interested I will set up a league. The Draft won't be until probably a week or two before opening day, but I prefer to get these things set up early so i'm not rushing around at the last minute trying to set up a league.

Do we do want to do a year to year league, start a franchise league, or do multiple of both?

I know FanGraphs has their otteneu leagues, which anyone can join and use all sorts of advanced stats.

For our league, could we pretty-please not use batting average? I'd love wOBA, but anything other than batting average would be much appreciated

Clearly batting average is the most important stat. Even more important than winning.

Have you guys ever played CBS fantasy baseball. They have the best setup, and it is very easy to use.

It was the best experience I've had except no iPhone app, so this last year I played ESPN. Huge mistake it sucked.

So are we talking a roto or points league? I prefer points head to head but roto is interesting. Count me in if the cost are low.

Personally Ive always done head to head, and though it always works out very well for me I think it is rather dumb, but I dont really have a preference either way.

Yahoo!'s fantasy baseball is really good, and their iphone app is free and very useful

CBS sports has an iphone app as well I believe

Count me in and head to head is my preference-also had good experiences w/ yahoo. Brett you are correct espn is terrible

I've never done Fantasy Baseball before but I've always wanted to. The problem with me is that I get a little tunnel vision and don't give a flaming rats ass who's doing well if they aren't a Cub. Obviously I'm *aware* there's other teams and players. Apparently there's something called the "American League"??? I heard they have this thing called the DH? Madness. Sheer madness.

All kidding aside, I'd like to try it but I think I'd be terrible at it and it would just piss me off since I'm terribly competitive.
