Not sure why but anytime the word phenom is attached to a player I immediately dislike them. Irrational, maybe, but goodness I can't stand Strasburg. DAMN YOU ESPN!

What Cub holds the record for mos hits by a rookie at 206?

I'll go with Sandberg, he had quite a few his first season, but I don't think he hit 200 his first year. So, why the heck did I just waste a guess on the wrong answer? Because I don't know the right one and he is going to be high no the list.

HOFer Billy Herman.  Extra points should go the guy who guessed Jerome Walton got 200 hits in a year.

Well, Jerome Walton did at least have 200 AB 3 times in his career.

Ken Griffey Jr. still has to be shaking his head about losing the ROY to that guy.

Griffey came in 3rd in the AL that year (behind Olson and Gordon).  Walton and Smith were 1 - 2 in the NL.  (Just looked it up).  Walton had 139 hits.

Doh! I should of known that. I guess 9yr old me didn't know that each league awards a ROY. I always thought he finished 3rd behind Dwight Smith and Walton.
