Seriously, if you're not hooked by 18 seconds in, you don't get rock & roll.

For what it's worth, the first tune is a cover of The Call's Let The Day Begin, one of the great underrated bands of the late 80's.

edit:  Here's the original:

Huh.  And upon further reading, it appears the Michael Been, lead singer of The Call, is the father of Robert Been of BMRC.  Michael Been died of a heart attack a few years ago backstage while working as a monitor engineer for his son's band.  Drag.

I saw these guys at the Metro in Chicago a few years ago.  Cool band, shitty place for a concert.

Ah, the Metro... such a wonderful little shithole.  Saw many, many, many gigs there in high school.

pretty sweet! I'm playing a gig tonight at a venue that was known as an El Forastero hangout. It was also the last place that I got into a good fight.

HA-HA, nice guys. I just wish I was that talented. I can make some screeching noises with a KORG and shake a tambourine and Maracas. Oh and beat on a Djembe.

I had a Zine for a week or two back in '95.  Those back issues go for big bucks these days.

(And thanks.  Happy to share.)
