Each year, during the weekend before the All-Star Game, there’s a semi-equivalent minor league All-Star Game featuring some of the best “U.S.” talents facing some of the best “World” talents. The Futures Game, as it’s called, is a fun prospect showcase.
And two of the Cubs’ best will be playing:

Kyle Schwarber and Carl Edwards, Jr. are now teammates at AAA Iowa after starting the year at AA Tennessee, and they’ll be teammates again for the Futures Game.
The game will be played on Sunday, July 12 at Great American Ballpark, and it is usually televised (probably on MLB Network).
