Logan Watkins finally gets his 3rd start for the Cubs, per Chicago Tribune.

In a lost season, it doesn't make much sense to not play Watkins if only to see what he may be capable of.

I watched him plenty in Iowa he's not capable of much.

Eh, it's clear that the Cubs don't see much in him.  Now, this means he will go elsewhere this winter, get a starting gig on a bum team and have a helluva April and the wailing over him will intensify while noone notices him being out of baseball by the end of May 2015.

I watched him plenty in Iowa he's not capable of much.

It's funny I didn't get the same impression.

I thought it was interesting that neither JD or Lenny really mentioned Watkins yesterday even though he had 3 hits and saved a run in the field. Not a single mention in the (ridiculous) 10th Inning "show".
