The other day we all learned what OD meant in Cubs Calendar speak. 

 

So... Moises Alou was the Cubs starting OD left fielder in 2003.  Who was the OD left fielder for the Cubs in 2002?

Rosey Brown?  He was another one of those Bryan LaHair, Micah Hoffpauir types.  Either him or Rondell White.

Correct!  I thought that was going to be a stumper!  Nice job.  No wonder they signed Alou the following year.  Rondell was the year before I think.  I really had high hopes for White, but he just got hurt too much.

I only remember Brown because I had the video game from that year.  I can't recall which company put it out, but he had the same rating as Patterson: B- as a rookie, usually wound up being B+/A- at his peak.
