I found this great article from Joe Posnanski about how asinine baseball statistics can be.  He especially "loves" the error stat.



I was going to try to pull 1 snippet from there that sums it up but the article is just full of all sorts of goodies, you have to read it.

And it ties into my "love affair" with the AB stat.  Seriously, why on God's green earth does this exist?

Great article.  I've always found "defensive indifference" to be a totally asinine category.
