I am terribly out of shape.  Last night, while stretching my neck muscles, I believe I gave myself a stinger.  Or did something equally pathetic to the top of my shoulder.

Weekend:

Who was the first Cubs pitcher to pitch in the All-Star game?

Monday:

What is the Cubs record for the most games won in a month?

A bit short.

I'd guess Lonnie Warneke for the AS pitcher. I'd guess 25 wins.

Double wrong.  (not often I get to say that about Spriggs).

Since he doesn't know:

Claude Passeau in 1946 and 26.  August 1906, July 1935 and July 1945.

What else is common about those three years?  NL PENNANTS.

I hate to say this, but if your wording to the question is correct, then the calendar is wrong.  Lonnie Warneke pitched in the very first All-Star game in 1933, before Passeau was ever even on the Cubs.

Perhaps we should replace the calendar with Spriggs.
