Getting my new Samsung Note 2 tomorrow and I am actually somewhat excited for it.  Now I will actually be able to type on here on my phone.

Which two pitchers share the Cubs record for consecutive victories with 14?

Amaury Telemacho and Jeff Pico?

Holy shit, your presence here without a slam towards me?

I award you 50,000 points just for that.

But your answer is wrong.

I know Sutcliffe did it in 1984 after being traded to the cubs.

There is one.

The other is a Spriggs-Era pitcher.

I thought your excitement over getting a Samsung phone would stand alone in that regard.

Actually, just the other day I found what might be my ticket stub to Amaury Telemaco's debut, but the ink is completely faded away.  It was a horribly shitty afternoon game, cold, overcast, with no one in the stands.  A 50° Tuesday in May, IIRC.  Telemaco pitched a no-hitter into the 6th, until Jeff fucking Bagwell lined a single into right center, that fucker.  It was a good game that got better in the bottom of the next inning when the Cubs exploded for 8.  I'm pretty sure we bought nosebleeds for $5 or $6 and after the second inning moved down to the lower boxes.  Fun day.

It appears I was one of 15k paid (though there were probably only 2/3rds that many attending).  And according to B-R, it was a 55° Thursday afternoon, FWIW.

Or, is it Thomas' buddy Three-Finger Brown?

I should have clarified, the Late-Spriggs Era not the Mid-Triassic-Spriggs Era

Charlie Root?

Root, root, root, root for the wrong answer, if Tim gives it out that's usual! For it's Ed, Ed, Ed Reulbach in 1909.
