On May 24 and May 25, 2001, these two Cubs pitching legends pitched back-to-back one-hitters.  Who were they and against what team(s)?

Wood and Lieber.

Wood I'm guessing is correct. I don't think Z was up yet and Prior wasn't up yet. I wouldn't call Lieber a "legend", but I can't think of anyone else.

I concur with Wood & Lieber. Lieber used only about 80 pitches.

It was against the Reds.

Wood and Lieber (tounge in cheek about Cubs legend) are correct.

One of the games was against the Reds, the other against Milwaukee.

I award myself 1.21 gigapoints for naming the pitchers while recovering from strep.

Lieber used only 78 pitches in his 1-hitter.

He won 20 that year---that makes him a legend to me.

He could have lost all his games or won all his games and I would look at him as the same pitcher.

You are still at negative eleventy.  I think you don't quite understand how many a negative eleventy is.

(1.21 gigapoints) / (88 mph) = 30,757,874 newtons = me going back in time and changing my score.

Nice reference sneakily added, but you'd need 2 Deloreans.

It was so sneaky, I had to make it twice. I guess you're saying I shifted back into the red?
