After yesterday's disaster of non-response, you get no Calendar.

(or I just can't figure out what I did with the sheet I brought home yesterday).

What were the 16 years the Cubs have made the playoffs since 1900.  Double bonus if you can also get the pre-1900 years.

I guess you got it since you included "And others"...

3 of the ones you are missing were a trivia answer a month or so ago.

The other year they lost to the Red Sox

Tha fuck?

You've got 1994 on there, Tim.  1994?!  Strike-shortened, shitty Cubs 1994?  And Joe gave you credit for that?

I call bullshit on this whole endeavor.  I'm out.  Fuck it.

Was '94 supposed to be '84?  When I glossed over it, I thought you were being ironic and silly putting '94 since NO ONE made the playoffs in '94.  Then I read it closer and noticed, "Oh.  No '84."  How does anyone over the age of 30 miss '84?

Other years are

1918

1932

1935

and 1938.

Well, begining with 1929 - they won the NL pennant every third year for a while (and I have a 1938 WS program), so add:

1932, 1935, and 1938.

I think the Babe Ruth year was 1917.

1918 was the Babe Ruth year.  1917 was the last time the WS won the WS until 2005.

Oh, the Babe Ruth year was 1918?  Those "nineteen" years always kind of threw me.  Should be easy to remember if it was the year before the Black Sox!

Liars!  You're all liars!

Seriously, how could I ever forget 1984? I came home every day from school to watch them on WGN. It was the most exciting season I have ever watched. Partly because of my age and unadulterated love of the team that seemed to always be down by a run or two late in the game and somehow someway always come back and win. Actually, I have never gone back to look at the game logs because I don't want to ruin the memory of the team I have in my head as I realize they weren't always down and didn't always come back, but in my memory, they did.
